Steele Canyon won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Spartans 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Emma Vogel, who had eight digs and two aces.

Steele Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Steele Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Santana on the 16th. As for Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Clairemont on the 16th.
