Pacelli got themselves on the board against Tri-County on Monday, but Tri-County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Penguins. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Amelia Martini was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted over her last ten games.

In other batting news, Pacelli got a massive performance out of Ella Van Order, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Van Order a new career-high. Jaedyn Zdroik was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Pacelli always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-County only posted an OBP of .167.

Pacelli is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tri-County, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Pacelli has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Poynette on the 19th. As for Tri-County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-10 victory against Mauston on the 19th.
