Basketball Recap: DeWitt Clinton Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the DeWitt Clinton Governors were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 73-67 to the Brandeis Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (60), the Governors still had to take the loss.

DeWitt Clinton dropped their record down to 4-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brandeis, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, DeWitt Clinton and Monroe Campus will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. DeWitt Clinton is facing Monroe Campus at the right time seeing as Monroe Campus is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Brandeis, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marshall Academy at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
