Sacred Heart Academy barely beat Vestaburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Irish's pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolverines a 12-0 shutout on Saturday. The Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by six runs or more this season.

Sacred Heart Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Vestaburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart Academy will challenge Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vestaburg, they will head out to take on Montabella at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
