Soccer Recap: Downers Grove North Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Downers Grove North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let the Grant Community Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Saturday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Downers Grove North's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Grant Community are ranked 345th).

Downers Grove North hit Grant Community with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ty Peboontom, Oliver Davies, and Alexander Douglas.

The victory got Downers Grove North back to even at 4-4-1. As for Grant Community, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Downers Grove North will take on Round Lake on Monday. As for Grant Community, they will take on South Elgin in a tournament on Monday.
