Gavin Phillips Game Report: vs River Mill

Clover Garden School came out on top against River Mill on Tuesday thanks in part to Gavin Phillips's efforts. Phillips turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

Coming up, Phillips and Clover Garden School will welcome Vance Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vance Charter will enter the matchup having just beaten Excelsior Classical Academy, so Clover Garden School will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
