Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt lost against Revere back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rough Riders took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Darkow, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases. Rocco Baggetta also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Roosevelt now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Revere, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-5.

While Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
