Football Game Recap: Port Isabel vs. St. Joseph Academy

The last time they met, St. Joseph Academy were the 62-20 winner over Port Isabel. This time around? They had no such luck. St. Joseph Academy were given a punishing 0-37 defeat at the hands of Port Isabel. The state rankings had actually given St. Joseph Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The loss dropped St. Joseph Academy's record to 1-4. The win bumped Port Isabel's record up to 2-3.

St. Joseph Academy will look to defend their home turf next week against Hidalgo at 7:30 PM. As for Port Isabel, they will face off against Grulla. Grulla also lit up the scoreboard in their last match, so this could be a high-scoring match.
