Football Recap: McNair Mustangs vs. Mt. Zion Bulldogs
Monday just wasn't the day for McNair's offense. They took a blow against the Mt. Zion Bulldogs on Monday, falling 32-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.
Mt. Zion was led to victory by Emeri Echols and Makayla Juhan. Echols rushed for 16 yards and two touchdowns, while Juhan picked up 112 receiving yards.
McNair's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mt. Zion, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.
McNair will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Redan at 5:30 p.m. Redan's defense has only allowed two points per game this season, so McNair's offense will have their work cut out for them. Mt. Zion has already played their next game, a 19-0 victory against Stephenson on the 4th.
