Basketball Recap: Burlington Gets the Win

Burlington lost to Kremlin-Hillsdale back in January of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Elks came out on top against the Broncs by a score of 51-40. The game was the first time the Elks have beaten the Broncs on their court since January 19, 2023.

The win made it two in a row for Burlington and bumps their season record up to 14-10. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Kremlin-Hillsdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Burlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 49-45 win against Cherokee on the 9th. As for Kremlin-Hillsdale, they have also already played their next contest, a 73-57 defeat against Boise City on the 7th.
