After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Olivet brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They skirted past the Charlotte Orioles 10-9. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Olivet's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Charlotte, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Olivet and Charlotte could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings.
