Volleyball Recap: Enochs Comes Up Short on the Road Against Big Valley Christian + How To Watch

Enochs had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Big Valley Christian Lions on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-12.

Reese Johnson paced Enochs' offense, picking up seven kills. Johnson got some help from Lileahna Leiva and her nine assists. Lauren Ramos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Big Valley Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caitlin Echegoyen out in front who had ten assists and nine digs.

Enochs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Waterford on the 23rd. As for Big Valley Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Turlock Christian on the 23rd.
