Volleyball Recap: Spring Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Spring Creek lost against Fernley back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell just short of the Vaqueros by a score of 3-2. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Spring Creek took Fernley into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 20-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Spring Creek now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Fernley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Spring Creek will take on rival Churchill County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fernley is set to challenge their familiar foe Dayton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
