The North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles will take on the Williston Red Devils in a tournament on Friday.

North Florida Educational Institute saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Port.

Meanwhile, Williston had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 54-24 victory over the Mustangs. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 30 points or more this season.

Williston's win came from a few key players North Florida Educational Institute will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Janiyah Span, who posted eight points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Young, who earned ten points.

Williston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive games.

Williston pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Florida Educational Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
