Football Game Preview: Munising Mustangs vs. Newberry Indians + How To Watch

The Munising Mustangs will face off against the Newberry Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Munising comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Munising had to suffer through a 56-8 loss at the hands of St. Ignace.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newberry). They blew past Engadine 56-0 on Friday. The Indians have beaten the Eagles the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Newberry's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Munising, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Munising against Newberry when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-18 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
