Softball Recap: Hanceville Wins Going Away Against Susan Moore

After only two runs in their last match, Hanceville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Susan Moore on Monday. Hanceville were the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over Susan Moore. The game marked Hanceville's most dominant win of the season so far.

Kynzlee Farr and Bella Spinks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Farr pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Spinks pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Farr has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Farr scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Spinks scored a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Farr a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, Josi Jones was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Maddy Bryant was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Hanceville's record now sits at 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Hanceville will venture away from home to face off against West Point at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Point is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Susan Moore, they have already played their next contest, a 10-3 defeat against Brindlee Mountain on the 4th.
