Soccer Game Preview: Johnson County vs. Hawkinsville

Johnson County is 0-3 against Hawkinsville since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. Johnson County will venture away from home to challenge Hawkinsville at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Johnson County is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Treutlen, falling 4-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Johnson County couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Hawkinsville kept a clean sheet against Treutlen on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Vikings 1-0. Hawkinsville haven't had any issues with Treutlen recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hawkinsville's one-goal win came courtesy of Kyla Slocumb, who's now up to seven this season.

Johnson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Hawkinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
