Ganado had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past Riesel 5-4. The win was familiar territory for Ganado, who have now won 20 games in a row.

Saylor Bures spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Paisley Hajovsky was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

Ganado's victory bumped their record up to 33-5-1. As for Riesel, with the defeat, they broke their 21-game winning streak and moved their record to 28-5-1.

As of now, neither Ganado nor Riesel have any future games scheduled.
