Football Game Preview: Pebble Hills Spartans vs. San Angelo Central Bobcats + How To Watch

Pebble Hills is 0-3 against San Angelo Central since November of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Spartans will take on the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Joe Fernandez and Micah Smith.

Pebble Hills had taken Franklin down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Spartans fell 28-15 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when San Angelo Central duked it out with Frenship on Thursday. The Bobcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 52-16. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won three games in a row.

San Angelo Central's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pebble Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Pebble Hills came up short against San Angelo Central when the teams last played back in September of 2019, falling 44-40. Thankfully for the Spartans, Malachi Brown (who rushed for 64 yards and three scores, and also threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
