Basketball Recap: Rocktown Takes a Loss

Rocktown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 57-16 defeat at the hands of the Broadway Gobblers. The match marked the Raptors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rocktown's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Broadway, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocktown will welcome Spotswood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spotswood will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Rocktown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Broadway, they will square off against East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Broadway knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully East Rockingham likes a good challenge.
