Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springfield). They blew past the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds 20-1 on Thursday. The Tigers have beaten the Thunderbirds the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Thunderbirds has come to flipping the script.

The win got Springfield back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Springfield will take on Lester Prairie at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, they will face off against St. Mary's at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
