Volleyball Recap: Jenny Dao and Brianna Kelly Secure Win for Bear Creek + How To Watch

Bear Creek was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Franklin Yellowjackets 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Bear Creek took Franklin into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Bear Creek was led to victory by Brianna Kelly and Jenny Dao. Kelly had 16 digs and one assist, while Dao had 17 assists and five digs. Those five digs gave Dao a new career-high.

Bear Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, don't look at Jasmine Nieto. Despite the final result, she had 26 digs and two aces.

Bear Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Franklin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.
