Basketball Recap: Fairview Now 14-2 over Last 16 Games

Fairview extended their postseason success on Thursday against Pawhuska. They escaped with a win against the Pawhuska Huskies by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Huskies are ranked 284th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fairview is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Pawhuska and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

As of now, neither Fairview nor Pawhuska have any future games scheduled.
