Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parkview last Tuesday, Forsyth came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Hollister Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-10.

Lauren Turner paced Forsyth's offense, picking up five kills. Turner got some help from Gianni Oldham and her eight assists.

Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-2. As for Hollister, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-3-1.

Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Monett on the 29th. Hollister has also already played their next match (against Fair Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
