Basketball Recap: J.T. Barlow Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat T.R. Miller

It was a proper cat-fight when Hillcrest challenged T.R. Miller on Tuesday. The Hillcrest Jaguars came out on top against the T.R. Miller Tigers by a score of 55-46. The score was all tied up 23-23 at the break, but the Jaguars were the better team in the second half.

Hillcrest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from J.T. Barlow, who posted 11 points. Jonathan Lewis also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Despite the loss, T.R. Miller still got an impressive performance from Myles Johnson, who went 9 for 14 en route to 22 points. Johnson is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Eli Hubbert was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

Hillcrest has already played their next game, a 79-64 win against W.S. Neal on the 9th. As for T.R. Miller, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-40 victory against Flomaton on the 9th.
