Basketball Game Preview: San Marino Titans vs. Muir Mustangs

The San Marino Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Muir Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. San Marino will be strutting in after a win while Muir will be coming in after a loss.

San Marino took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Gabrielino 65-41. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Eagles are ranked 1022nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Muir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against Pasadena, falling 71-28. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

San Marino's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Muir, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
