Covenant Day won against Charlotte Country Day School on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Lions skirted past the Buccaneers 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won six in a row.

Matthew Dorsey and Isiash Dorhbor did most of the damage at the plate: Dorsey got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Dorhbor got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double.

Covenant Day's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Charlotte Country Day School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.
