Softball Recap: La Quinta Comes Up Short

La Quinta was the 5-0 winner over Loara when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Aztecs fell 6-2 to the Saxons on Wednesday. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Raellie Faatuga made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple.

La Quinta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Loara, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. La Quinta is set to face off against their familiar foe Orange at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Loara will challenge rival Santa Ana Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
