Basketball Recap: Caiden Morefield and Davian Kennedy Secure Win for Willow Glen

It's playoff time, and Willow Glen had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Prospect Panthers 64-40 on Saturday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Panthers are ranked 865th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Willow Glen was led to victory by Davian Kennedy and Caiden Morefield. Kennedy posted 16 points, while Morefield had 14 points. Those 14 points gave Morefield a new career-high. Ryder Ingram was another key player, putting up ten points.

Willow Glen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. Prospect's record now sits at 13-13.
