Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Academy Crusaders vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles

St. Joseph Academy hasn't had much luck against Tri-City Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Crusaders will challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

St. Joseph Academy is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvin Christian. While St. Joseph Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Calvin Christian 25-19 in the first set.

St. Joseph Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Tri-City Christian waltzed into their match on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-27, 25-14, 25-9.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Tri-City Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-12.

St. Joseph Academy came up short against Tri-City Christian in their previous meeting on April 10th, falling 3-1. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
