Basketball Game Preview: Kingsland Knights vs. Grand Meadow Superlarks

Kingsland has gone 8-2 against Grand Meadow recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Kingsland Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grand Meadow Superlarks at 7:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Kingsland's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Grand Meadow has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Kingsland beat LeRoy-Ostrander 64-52.

Max Erdman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and dropping a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Johnson, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 20 points.

Kingsland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Grand Meadow came up short against Lanesboro on Friday and fell 43-36.

Kingsland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Grand Meadow, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Kingsland's way against Grand Meadow when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Kingsland made off with a 72-50 win. Does Kingsland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grand Meadow turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
