Basketball Recap: Ferndale's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Ferndale hadn't done well against South Fork recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Ferndale Wildcats came out on top against the South Fork Cubs by a score of 62-51. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ferndale's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for South Fork, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

Ferndale and Hoopa Valley will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Hoopa Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season. South Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
