Basketball Recap: Arlington Tigers vs. Houston Mustangs
Arlington lost against Houston back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Arlington Tigers took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston Mustangs.
Houston was led to victory by Mckenzie Percoski and Caidyn Sanders. Percoski dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Sanders posted 17 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Percoski is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Laila Mcnamee, who had five points and seven rebounds.
Arlington has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Houston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Arlington will take on Memphis Home Education Association in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Houston, they will be taking part in a tournament against Trezevant at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th.
