Football Game Preview: Ludlow Panthers vs. Bishop Brossart Mustangs

The Ludlow Panthers will challenge the Bishop Brossart Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ludlow will be strutting in after a win while Bishop Brossart will be coming in after a loss.

Two weeks ago, Ludlow didn't have too much trouble with Trimble County as they won 27-8. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Bishop Brossart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Holy Cross. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ludlow's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Bishop Brossart, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Ludlow beat Bishop Brossart 46-35 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
