Soccer Recap: North Surry Comes Up Short

North Surry's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Starmount Rams by a score of 2-1. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: North Surry's BORJA ESQUIVEAS and Starmount's Felipe Banosramirez and Javier Mondragon were all carded.

North Surry's goal came courtesy of ESQUIVEAS, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for North Surry and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Starmount, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-2.

Coming up, North Surry will challenge North Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Starmount, they will take on Forbush at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
