Recap: Central Rockets vs. Norland Vikings
The Central Rockets and the Norland Vikings squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Central Rockets had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 31-28. Central's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Ennio Yapoor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Norland, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 231 yards and a touchdown on only 18 passes.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Norland's defense and their three sacks. Tycoolhill Luman was especially locked on to Central's QB and sacked him twice.
Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Norland, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 13-0 record.
Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Norland will be playing in front of their home fans against Bolles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolles will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Norland is ranked fifth).
