The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers will be playing at home against the Roman Catholic Cahillite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hollidaysburg will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Hollidaysburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Delaware Valley with points to spare, taking the game 56-42. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Golden Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Warriors are ranked 112th).
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Carter Muth and Michael Iuzzolino. Muth had a great game and rushed for 281 yards and five TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Iuzzolino was balling out in the loss, rushing for 137 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Roman Catholic took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over Whitehall. The result was nothing new for the Cahillite, who have now won five contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
Roman Catholic's win came from a few key players Hollidaysburg will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Semaj Beals, who threw for 200 yards and four TDs on only 13 passes. Eyan Stead was in the mix as well, providing Roman Catholic with three scores.
Hollidaysburg's record is now 13-0. As for Roman Catholic, their record now sits at 9-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Hollidaysburg has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 301.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Roman Catholic, though, as they've been averaging only 92.9 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Hollidaysburg was taken down by Roman Catholic 48-14 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Golden Tigers were down 34-6.
