Volleyball Recap: Willows Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Willows lost against Pierce back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Honkers lost 3-0 to the Bears. The Honkers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pierce scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Willows' defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Pierce, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willows is set to challenge their familiar foe East Nicolaus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pierce will take on rival Durham at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
