Softball Game Preview: Calhoun Red Devils vs. Braxton County Eagles

Calhoun hasn't had much luck against Braxton County recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Red Devils will welcome the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Braxton County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Calhoun, who comes in off a win.

Calhoun took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past Poca 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since April 9th.

Meanwhile, Braxton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against South Harrison, falling 15-0.

Calhoun's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Braxton County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
