It was a good run, but Maplesville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Thorsby Rebels by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in March.

Maplesville's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Thorsby, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1.

Coming up, Maplesville will face off against Jemison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thorsby, they will challenge Childersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
