Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Texas City). They never let the Ball Tornadoes onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Stingarees needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Texas City pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Ball, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Coincidentally, Texas City and Ball will both be playing Santa Fe the next time they take the pitch. Texas City will host Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Ball will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on February 15th.
