West Jessamine had won five straight games and Ava Smith did her part to make it six on Tuesday. Everything went the Colts' way against the Pulaski County Maroons as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Smith, who had 20 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last six games she's played.
West Jessamine's victory bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Pulaski County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season.
West Jessamine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Boyle County on the 29th. Pulaski County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
