Chaska lost to Waconia back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Chaska Hawks were the clear victor by an 81-61 margin over the Waconia Wildcats.

When it comes to explaining why Waconia lost, don't look at Will Kirsch. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points. The contest was Kirsch's 21st in a row with at least 16 points.

Chaska is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. Waconia has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.
