If Providence Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Commerce, they should've done a better job of containing Jace Lyle. The Tigers blew past the Storm 52-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Lyle, who rushed for 178 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. He has become a key player for Commerce: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-7 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Ty Sorrells, who gained 83 total yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended two passes.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Commerce's defense and their six sacks. In that department, Caden McWilliams was the leader with two. Another thorn in Providence Christian Academy's side was Bronc Cash, who made ten total tackles (5.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

Commerce's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Providence Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Commerce nor Providence Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
