Softball Recap: Mineral County Serpents vs. Wells Leopards
Mineral County and Wells squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mineral County had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Leopards. The Serpents have struggled against the Leopards recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Mineral County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caitlynn Sanchez, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Coming up, Mineral County is taking a road trip to face off against Virginia City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wells, they will welcome Pyramid Lake at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
