Volleyball Recap: Rosemead Comes Up Short

Rosemead lost against Marshall back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

Rosemead was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-23.

Giselle Han paced Rosemead's offense, picking up six kills. Han got some help from Viviana Tu and her eight assists. Gisele Duong controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Lena Lao, who had six aces and five digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Rosemead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Compton Early College on the 21st. As for Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Charter Oak on the 21st.
