Kingsbury barely beat Memphis East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Mustangs 19-9 on Friday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Christopher Woodruff and Deyber Lovera Marin did most of the damage at the plate: Woodruff got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Lovera Marin got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Woodruff has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Harris, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Kingsbury's record now sits at 7-10-1. As for Memphis East, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Kingsbury will challenge Overton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Memphis East, they will face off against Raleigh-Egypt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Pharaohs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
