Everything went their way against the Echols County Wildcats on Tuesday as the Irwin County Indians made off with a 20-3 win. Considering the Indians have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jenna Bridges and Addison Conner did most of the damage at the plate: Bridges went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and a triple, while Conner scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That triple marked the first that Bridges' hit this season. Emilee Smith was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Irwin County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the third in a row for Irwin County, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. As for Echols County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Irwin County will venture away from home to challenge Clinch County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
