Crossroads Christian had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they bumped up to 2-0 to make it six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ridgecroft Rams 95-30. 95 seems to be a good number for the Colts as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Brody Watkins had a dynamite game, shooting 67% from beyond the arc en route to 25 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Sean Smith, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 10 points and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Crossroads Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridgecroft only posted six.

As for Ridgecroft, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Crossroads Christian: they've now lost five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgecroft lost, don't look at Jaiveon Lyles-Askew. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points.

Crossroads Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-46 loss against Cape Fear Academy on the 15th. As for Ridgecroft, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-30 defeat against Faith Christian on the 13th.
