Football Recap: Wilcox Central Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Wilcox Central took on Hatch on Thursday. The Jaguars lost to the Bobcats on the road by a 26-8 margin.

Wilcox Central's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hatch, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Wilcox Central and Hatch will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Jaguars are set to take on their familiar foe Hale County at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Hatch will face off against rival Holy Spirit Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
